When John Lewis acquired Opun, a home services startup, it marked more than just a strategic move, signalling a shift in how the retailer approached home improvement. With a growing demand for trusted, end-to-end services, John Lewis needed to translate its reputation for quality into a new category. That’s where we came in…
We led the full rebrand of Opun under the John Lewis name and launched two distinct service propositions: Home Solutions and Kitchens & Bathrooms. From digital journeys to physical spaces, we crafted cohesive, confidence-building experiences, designing everything from the in-store look and feel to display systems, marketing materials and every word and pixel of content. This was full-spectrum brand building, with strategy, storytelling, and spatial design combined to maximise its impact across every touchpoint. We brought energy and clarity to a traditionally complex category, helping John Lewis connect the dots between inspiration, installation, and in-store experience.
"Our goal is to build the home improvement business of the future. We constantly strive to make any project simple and transparent for our customers."
